It’s Deb…

If you missed it this morning, we shared that one of my dogs, Bella, had surgery yesterday. Bella is an English Bulldog, and was our youngest son’s only request for Christmas. No pressure, right? I will admit, I’m SLIGHTLY obsessed with her, as she is the only other female in the family.

Hey, we’ve got to stick together, ladies.

Poor Bella is recovering from her planned surgery to be spayed as well as treatment for a cherry eye, which is common for her breed and looked worse than she felt. She is now sporting her new ‘lampshade’ accessory for the next 10 to 14 days, and looks pretty miserable. (Running into the walls certainly isn’t helping!) Here’s the pic I snapped of Bella as I slept next to her on the couch last night.

Jim and Kevin are also dog lovers, so I loved receiving a card for Bella from their friendly four-legged friends, Memphis and Cooper, to speed along her recovery. Yes, we’ve lost it. (What can I say, we love our dogs as though they’re family!)
