Indianapolis Animal Care Services Is Overcrowded And Needs Your Help

Over 200 animals have been adopted in the last few weeks from IACS according to RTV6. However, more than 600 animals have been brought in so far this year. Because of the influx of pets, Indianapolis Animal Care Services is running out of room to house animals.

There are currently around 842 animals in their care, over half of which are dogs.

To help out, they are seeking short-term fosters for larger dogs.Think about—you get to hang out with a cool dog for a few weeks and give them a break from the stressful shelter life. Who knows, you might even fall in love.

If you can help out, fill out an application at IACS’ website.
