This probably comes as a surprise to no one, but there’s some drama surrounding Miranda Lambert’s new husband. Turns out 27-year-old NYPD Officer Brendan McLoughlin was engaged just months before marrying the singer.

According to People, Brendan was engaged to a woman named Jackie. But, she ended the engagement when another woman came forward claiming she was seven months pregnant his child.

The child, a boy, was born just a few days after Miranda and Brendan met at her concert, where he was doing security. They tied the knot on January 26, after about a three month courtship.

But who knows, maybe this one is the real deal! We will just have to wait and see.
