If you visit Rally’s often, you might have noticed that a few local restaurants have been closed. Two of these are due to health code violations by the Marion County Health Department.

The store at 2950 Madison Avenue had its food license suspended in January. According to Fox 59, one of the reasons was a non-working freezer. You know, where most of the food is stored.

One former manager described the restaurant as “nasty.” She added, “We had meat patties you could tell had been thawed out and put back in the freezer. They had mold on it.”

Another Rally’s location at 3605 Kentucky Avenue also had its food license suspended. It apparently had no running water. You need water to wash your hands…

Both locations will remain closed until they can pass a health inspection. Additionally, a Washington Street Rally’s is also closed but not due to health department reasons.
