If you live in Carmel, IN you can sleep a little easier tonight knowing this. The Indianapolis suburb was named one of the safest cities in America by Safewise.

Carmel came in at number 39 on the “Safest Cities in America” list which was based on the number of property crimes including burglary, arson, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft. It also took into account the most recent FBI crime report statistics and census population data.

With 92,000 residents, Carmel was the largest city to make the list. Hopkinton, Massachusetts came in at number one.
