Opened in 1900, Riverside Golf Course is the oldest public golf course in Indianapolis. But, at the end of this season it will be no more. The city is shutting it down to create a new ecological park according to the Indiana Business Journal.

South Grove Golf Course, the second oldest municipal course will also close within the next few years. Charles E. Coffin Golf Course will remain open and be revamped.

The new park sounds pretty cool though. It’ll have a playground, an off-leash dog park and even a zip line.
