Downtown Indianapolis got a little makeover this week. Artist Jules Muck AKA Muck Rock added murals to a few buildings, including one of Dolly Parton!
You can find the “Dolly Door” on the Blue Beard/Amelia’s Bakery building located at Norwood Street and Virginia Avenue.
“… I don’t know where Dolly came from, except the mural is this very pale yellow kind of like bleach blond look, and that reminded me of her hair kind of, and I had this photo of her face,” Muck told the Indy Star. “It happened to fit perfectly in that door, and I just gave her some tattoos to make it a little more interesting.”
