Sixteen kids from Lawrence Township were taken to hospitals after a mix-up between a TB screening and insulin shots on Monday morning. One student reported shakiness and being cold after texting her mom pictures of a red bump on her arm. According to Fox59, giving a dose of insulin to someone who is not diabetic could cause blood sugar to drop abnormally low.

Once the mistake was disclosed, the students were observed and evaluated at hospitals and would be okay to go home in the evening.
