Smartest Hoosier Ever

Q: These are blue and gold, and more than 50,000 of them are manufactured each year.  What?

A: Future Farmers of America jackets.

70,000 of them are running the streets of Downtown Indianapolis, for the National FFA Convention, welcome back to town, kids.

Fun FFA Fact: Girls were not allowed membership in Future Farmers of America until 1969. Before then, girls had their own unaffiliated group called Future Homemakers of America (FHA). The FHA later became known as Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
