Nameless Creek Youth Camp Holds Tailgate Extravaganza in November
GREENFIELD, Ind.,
– Nameless Creek Youth Camp is to hold a Tailgate Extravaganza on Nov. 7. The tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. with overnight accommodations available. Included will be a number of different activities throughout the day such as: scheduled football game, corn hole, horseshoe toss and crafts for children. Scattered campfires will be at the camp and food will also be available at the tailgate. www.namelesscreekyouthcamp.com.
President Jerry Bell of Nameless Creek Youth Camp is very excited for the extravaganza.
"Our county has never had a family event like this Tailgate party before and we hope to make it an annual event," Bell said. "Nameless Creek Youth Camp is designed for everyone! We are all "youthful" in one way or another."
The mission for Nameless Creek is to "create outdoor and recreational and camping opportunities to increase the appreciation of nature and the enjoyment of the outdoors and outdoor sports for all of the youth of Greenfield, Hancock County and the surrounding counties." The tailgate is to serve primarily as a way for families of Greenfield to come together to have fun in the outdoors, but secondarily as a fundraiser for the camp.
Nameless Creek Youth Camp is not funded by any public agency. It is a designated 501 (c)(3) organization and is available for reunions, church functions and community activities. For additional information, see their Web site at
