My First Blog Ever

Guess we'll start with global warming, I almost froze this morning after mowing the grass. That cold breeze was blowing and it felt more like October than the middle of July.

Looking forward to grilling some pork chops tomorrow evening and consuming some adult beverages. It only seems appropriate that my first blog include some mention of food in it! Went to see the horses run at Indiana Downs the last night of thoroughbred season and only ended up losing three bucks on the night. There managed to get in some gambling references as well!

The real reason I'm writing is to invite you to the Ind State Fair this Aug 7-23, three weekends long so no excuses not to bring the family out and enjoy some wonderful fried food and free entertainment on our WFMS Free Stage! Check out the website for dates and times and I'll see you at the show! You want good eats hints just come and ask, I'll be in Superstudio so please come by and say hi!

J.D. I have been listening to you on the radio for many years, I usualoly hav the radio on when cooking dinner every eve .I used to call you regularly to request Rocky Top. I was Diann from Coatesville. I now live in Brownsburg taking care of my invalid husband, I am a caregiver to my 9 yr old grandaughter . She is from China, my daughter adopted her 8 yrs ago. We all live together and I have dinner ready when my daughter comes home from work. Also help Lucy with her homework when she needs help.
