Recently I was fortunate enought to celebrate my 31st anniversary with WFMS. Whew! With all the unemployment in Central Indiana and throughout the country, I thank God every day for a job I still love 31 years later.
I remember the first building I worked in back in the late 70's. We were just down 21st street from Community North Hospital. In fact when you cruise out the east side on I-70 that tower you see is where the studios used to be located. That serves as a stand by tower for us now. We moved to Castleton from there oh boy the traffic! But the studios there were so large, open and comfortable who cared.
About 11 years ago we moved to our present location at 6810 North Shadeland, give us a honk when you cruise by and stop by for a visit anytime. Rumor has it the interstate will expand and we'll be moving again but who cares. I've got the greatest job in the world, sharing country music, news, and information with my friends. Thanks for 31 years of faithful listening I appreciate it more than words can say. Here's to another 31 or so ok?
