You know the Tim McGraw song "Live Like You Were Dying"? Those lyrics seem to be running through my head a lot these days. The idea of making the most of each day is something most people take for granted. That is, until a cancer diagnosis touches your family.
"And I loved deeper
And I spoke sweeter
And I gave forgiveness I'd been denying"
If there is a silver lining to this cancer business, that's it. Making the most of whatever time we have on this earth…everyday single day.
"Like tomorrow was a gift
And you've got eternity
To think about
What you'd do with it..
What could you do with it..
What would I do with it.."
Don't look for me to do 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fu Man Chu, but you can be certain that I'm loving deeper, speaking sweeter, and appreciating the gifts each day brings. Be a blessing to someone today!
Tammy
