The Indianapolis Home Show, “Choppin Hunger” and WFMS join forces to combat hunger in Indiana by supporting our local food banks! Here are two ways you can WIN, and, understand the challenges local food banks have each and every day to create healthy and creative meals using limited resources.
FIRST WAY TO WIN!
Did you know the most desired ingredient by local food pantries are spices? Visit the Indianapolis Home Show on Saturday, February 1 from 11am – Noon and bring one of these spices to donate to a local food bank. If you’re one of the first 500 to donate, you will receive a custom healthy recipe courtesy of Gleaners, Second Helpings, CICOA and the American Dairy Association to take home and create a great meal using only a few items.
SPICES NEEDED: Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, soy sauce, Italian spices, cumin, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg
SECOND WAY TO WIN!
Win an iPad Air by submitting a short, nutritious recipe using a minimum of 3 of the following ingredients, one of which needs to be a milk or cheese item! Take a photo of your prepared dish and upload your recipe for a chance to win this great prize that can store all your recipes safe and close at hand! The winning recipe will be judged by the American Dairy Association. Ingredients below:
