It's not uncommon for friends to ask me, 'Do you really shop at Meijer as much as you say you do?' The answer is easy: Yes. Yes. And Yes.
I am at Meijer several times a week.
Sometimes for groceries. Sometimes for an item in sporting goods. Sometimes I'm filling a prescription. Buying plants, you name it.
Meijer is my home away from home.
Since our boys were little, I have been a Meijer shopper. I loved being able to, with some effort, load up their car seats, grab a cart, and find everything I need, all under one roof. Less stress for a parent makes for a happy Mom! We began the tradition of 'Donut Saturdays,' where we would wake up, grab fresh donuts from Meijer's bakery and do our grocery shopping. The boys loved the payoff: A ride on the Meijer mechanical pony.
Everyone wins.
Especially my wallet. I loved getting quality items, good produce and all of our favorites at great prices, leaving money left over for other spending. I can still recall shopping the diapers aisle, though it's been years. We've since traded buying diapers for video games in the electronics department. Yet, no matter how old the kids get, we are still enjoying Meijer's free antibiotics! Can't beat FREE!
Meijer is like home to me. And I love being greeted by familiar faces every time I walk through their doors.
