The Friends & Neighbors program was developed in 1995 as a grass-roots marketing campaign designed to help small Central Indiana non-profit groups with their fundraising. WFMS’s Friends & Neighbors has helped raise over $1,000,000 with hundreds of community appearances each year. WFMS discovered we could help many small community and non-profit organizations meet their fundraising goals by supporting their group’s events with promotion, publicity, and entertainment. The appearance of Friends & Neighbors centers around our van that brings free goodies and prizes to the event-goers! It is one of the few hands-on support marketing events in Indianapolis radio.
