I guess the tabloids finally got their wish. TMZ had the scoop this morning…and the couple issued a statement to the Associated Press, so it must be true. AP is reporting that Miranda Lambert and husband Blake Shelton have filed for divorce. In a statement to the Associated Press, a representative for the couple said ““This is not the future we envisioned, And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
TMZ says the papers were filed a while back (by Blake) and a judge is expected to make it official today.
I really hate to hear this! I guess you never really know what’s happening in someone’s private life.
