Is it wrong to eat food at the grocery store before you buy it? Kevin saw someone doing this over the weekend. The guy ate a few cookies out of the box before paying for them. We asked this question during the show this morning, and didn’t get a clear answer.
Melissa – I think it is stealing. What if you didn’t like it, are you still going to buy it? Probably not.
Wanda – I just feel it’s “inappropriate “. What if you go to purchase it and your debit card denies???? Or you can’t find your cash????
Mel – I do it sometimes. Especially if I’m really thirsty or if it’s something new. I try it, if I like it I’ll buy more.
Chad – It’s no different than eating at a restaurant. You eat then pay. Just as long as you pay and maybe tip.lol
Jim says next time he’s going to make a bologna sandwich in the grocery store, and just pay for it at check out. He calls it multi-tasking. Kevin can think of a better places to enjoy lunch!
