You might have heard us chatting this morning about the new app for your smartphone called PURPLE. It’s making life easier (or making us lazier?), keeping gas in our vehicles so we never run low.
Here’s how it works: Customers use their app to make a transaction with their credit card and make sure their gas tank can be reached. A gas courier wearing a purple shirt arrives at your location to fill your tank with 10 to 15 gallons of gas, meanwhile, you NEVER. LEFT. YOUR. COUCH.
Not bad! Except I wouldn’t want someone I don’t know lurking around my vehicle, even if it’s a service that I paid for, so not sure I would use PURPLE.
PURPLE isn’t yet available in Indiana, (west coast for now) but will be in the Midwest eventually. And there you have it!
