Hank Williams Jr. & Chris Stapleton at Klipsch Music Center

Heavy rain, lightning and countless delays weren’t enough to keep a sold out show featuring Hank Williams, Jr. and Chris Stapleton from happening Friday night at Klipsch Music Center. Ashley McBryde opened the show with a short set before giving way to Chris Stapleton who, while exhibiting his classic reserved nature, let his guitar do the talking. His set was riddled with bluesy tunes and and pounding solos, the perfect opening act for one of the all-time greats, the legendary Hank Williams, Jr. Bocephus wears many hats on stage, literally and figuratively, as he donned several caps while playing multiple instruments to arguably the rowdiest crowd yet this summer.
