We like donuts. We like beer. (Well, two of us like beer, anyway. Deb doesn’t know what she’s missing!) Put ’em together and what do you get?

Krispy Kreme Donut…Beer!

We aren’t sure how we feel about that. Would it be too sweet? Would it taste like a bottle of liquid icing? Should beer taste like, well, fried rings of dough? We’re on the fence. Not that we wouldn’t try it, of course. Men tend to try anything. Heck, Deb’s husband, Greg, ate a dog treat over the weekend! (Disclaimer: It was on a dare, and it was one of those healthy, dog bakery treats. It was also shaped like a cookie. And it tasted like peanut butter and banana. (We’re running out of excuses.) Still sound weird? Okay, maybe a little.

We do hope to try Krispy Kreme Donut Beer soon, and report back. Strictly for professional reasons, of course.
