Deb Replaces Doorknob with a SOCK and We Can’t Stop Laughing

It’s Kevin…

I’m not calling anyone out here, but, well…Deb and her family have lost it. Why else would they have a sock stuffed in the opening that once held a doorknob? Yeah. YOU HEARD ME RIGHT.

A S-O-C-K.

8 days ago, Deb’s husband Greg made his first honest attempt at replacing a faulty doorknob in their home. And let’s just say it didn’t go well. Greg needed time to regroup because frustration quickly kicked in. He promised to finish the job the following evening, thinking a fresh start would be the key to completing the task.

7 more evenings and 3 doorknobs later, Greg has been back at it, but the job still isn’t done. And because Deb and her fam love their pets, Greg told her as she left for work one morning to ‘stick a sock in it.’

BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA  It. Just. Gets. Better.

Of course, Greg was referring to the opening of the door to prevent cold air from the garage from getting into the house where Bella (the new bulldog) sleeps nearby. Still, can we just recap that they have a door WITH A SOCK IN IT? Let’s take another look, just for fun. Isn’t that what friends are for?

In Greg’s defense, replacing a doorknob isn’t exactly a simple task. (Ok, maybe not an 8-day project, but I digress.) Deb admits she laughed all the way in to work after pulling on the ‘toe’ of the sock to close the door. Completely normal, right?

We can’t make this stuff up!
