Patachou Incorporated currently owns 14 restaurants in the Indianapolis area. But as of next week, that’ll go down to 13. The company announced over the weekend that they will be shutting down Cripsy Bird Chix.

The fried chicken restaurant has only been open for about a year. But, the company knew that it would be a short term venture. According to their latest Instagram post, “the foundational team that formed the DNA of Crispy Bird was committed to staying in Indianapolis for a year, and, as forewarned, they have moved on to culinary adventures around the world – literally, they have flown the coop.”
January 12 will be the last day of operation for Crispy Bird. However, they are working on getting the fried chicken on the menu of 12 of their 13 locations. The space will be used as an “incubator” for the company where they can try out recipes, concepts and other ideas.
