Have you ever hard of “INBOX ZERO”? It’s a philosophy where you try to keep your inbox empty by responding to deleting every email right way. This is how I live my live … the “touch it once” theory.
Well, a new survey asked people how many unread emails they usually have in their inbox at the end of the day.
40% said none (that’s me)
28% say a few
22% say somewhere between 10 and 50 unread emails.
And … 5% say about 100 or more … including about one in 50 people have have more than 500.
Now, I thought that was a lot …. until Deb told me she have over 89,000 unopened emails …. 89 THOUSAND! But, come to find out she is not alone. We heard from many listeners who had at least that many. If fact Rene tops the list with over 250,000 unread emails.
I think they all should join a club. The email hoarders club! Maybe we can get them a reality TV show deal.
