Today is National Burrito Day, and Indianapolis ranks twentieth in the United States for most Mexican restaurants, which should come as little surprise, because we love our burritos in Naptown. With sixty-four Mexican eateries, it’s not hard to find your favorite taco spot or margarita watering hole, and that’s just within the city limits! The first Mexican restaurant in Indianapolis was opened byJoe Rangal in 1960 and remains to this day in Downtown Indy as Acapulco Joe’s.
Congratulations to Chuck Taylor of Milroy, Indiana who knew today’s answer and won tickets to see Luke Combs at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on November 15th. You can get your tickets here when they go on sale tomorrow morning at 10AM.
As far as burrito deals today go:
- Moe’s Southwest Grill is also selling burritos for five bucks.
- Chipotle has free delivery if you order through DoorDash and spend $10.
- Qdoba is giving out triple rewards points all day.
