You never really know what’s going to happen at a live show. For example, take Chris Young’s recent concert in Lexington, KY.
According to The Boot, Chris spotted a fan holding up a sign that read the following: “Chemo Yesterday … Chris Young Today.”
So, during “Who I Am With You,” he left the stage, walked through the crowd and stopped at the woman. He then gave her a huge hug and finished the song next to her before returning to the stage.
Of course, since this is 2019, someone caught it all on video. The woman’s daughter, Mandi, reposted the video and expressed her gratitude.
“Sending a huge thank you to Chris Young for pulling my mom out of the crowd to sing her favorite song with her in celebration of her last chemo treatment. It was definitely a night we will never forget.”
