It’s the end of the line for another store inside of Circle Centre Mall. According to the Indy Star, New York and Company will exit the mall on January 27. Markdowns have already begun.

Charlotte Russe and Payless also left in the past year, although both stores filed for bankruptcy and closed all of their locations.

Management was not able to discuss why the store was closing, per a policy with Circle Centre. However, New York and Company’s parent company closed 27 of their stores after a dismal fiscal quarter in December. 19 of those were NY&Cos.

The store was one of the original tenants in the mall.
