Nascar and IndyCar driver John Andretti has passed away at the age of 56.

Andretti told the Indy Star in 2018 that he was already past the age he “should have lived to” as a driver. He added that he was going to give it “the strongest fight” he could, which he absolutely did.
John was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer back in 2017. His scans were clear after treatment, but the cancer returned early last year.
