UPDATE: Geico, Liberty Mutual and USAA have also announced that they will be issuing refunds and credits as well. The two former will be offering a 15% credit according to USA Today. And according to CNBC, the latter will credit policy holders 20% for April and May.

Over $800 million is coming back to drivers who have policies with Allstate and American Family Mutual (try reading that NOT as the jingle).

Allstate announced yesterday that they were going to give drivers a 15% discount on their April and May premiums. If you already paid for April, you should get a refund on whatever payment method you used.

Esurance and Encompass customers will also get the discount since Allstate is their parent company.

American Family is offering a one time payment of $50 per car to their customers according to Yahoo!

State Farm said they’ll make a decision by Friday and no word on Progressive, because of course, that’s who my insurance is through.
