My fiance could single-handedly keep the soda business afloat. So, when I told him this news he was not pleased. But alas, it is the truth—according to a press release from AOL, McDonald’s “beverage bars will remain closed or sectioned off and staffed in restaurants.”
No word on if it’s a permanent closure or just for the foreseeable future. And if I had to guess, I’d say other restaurants will soon follow suit.
Aside from the beverage bars, play areas will also remain closed.
