This might be our favorite research study yet, because new research shows that Americans have been drunk for approximately 172 HOURS during 11 weeks of lockdown.
According to American Addiction Centers, a provider of rehabilitation resources and programs, conducted a survey of 3,200 adults (aged 21+) to find out how much time they have actually spent drunk during lockdown and overall the average adult in the USA was drunk for almost 172 hours during lockdown.
South Dakota can now be considered the “drunkest state” as participants said they average almost 468 hours drunks throughout lockdown.
