Have you wanted to try kayaking or canoeing on the river? Well now is the time! The White River Alliance is introducing Free Paddle Days in July and August.

According to Wish TV, the first day will be on July 17 after the Alliance’s annual meeting. The first 50 meeting attendees will get a free kayak rental.

Additional dates for free rentals are July 26, August 16 and August 30. Rentals are limited to the first 35 people and departures will be at 9 AM and 2 PM.

There will be two more dates to replace the Hamilton County White River Clean-Up. Those will happen on August 7 and August 21. The first 85 kayaks or canoe rentals will be free.

You’re encouraged to pick up trash while paddling, and you could even win a gift card for doing it.
