Nashville’s Nissan Stadium seats a heck of a lot of people. But none of those seats were filled for Darius Rucker and Luke Bryan’s latest performance.

The pair covered John Mellancamp’s “Small Town” for the CMA Best of Fest. I have to imagine it was pretty weird to play for an empty stadium. But, maybe it was kind of like a sound check?
