Chicago Restaurant Sells A $350 PB&J Sandwich

Normally when you make/order a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you know you’ll spend at least $5 on it, but this restaurant in Chicago is asking customers to shell out $350 for its “Golden Goose” PB&J!

According to Fox, PB&J (Pizza, Beer and Jukebox) restaurant just introduced their new sandwich, which features “toasted edible gold leaf bread,” “all-natural peanut butter,” New Zealand’s manuka honey, and the world’s most expensive seedless redcurrant jam from France.

The “Golden Goose” sandwich needs to be ordered one day in advance, and so far the restaurant says they’ve sold “a few” of them. While the price may seem crazy, at least those who shell out the dough are doing it for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds go to a charity helping children living in the city’s homeless shelters!
