Dr. Fauci Makes Recommendation On Colleges With In-Person Classes

A lot of colleges opened back up for in-person classes this year despite the pandemic and, no surprise to anyone, they’ve experienced their students testing postive for COVID-19.

On one hand, it’s great that they’re testing students. It’s better to know what you’re working with. But then what? What do you do with sick kids? Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, says KEEP THEM AT SCHOOL rather than send them home. The reasoning behind this is that

“they’re only going to re-enter the community from which they came, and then they’ll wind up spreading infection outside of the confines of the college,” according to CNN.

Fauci calls for designated quarantine spaces to keep the spread in check. He also noted that parties and congregating in Greek houses will be an obstacle to address.
