Multiple retailers have closed some or all of their store ocations in 2020. Examples include Bed Bath & Beyond, Victoria’s Secret and Pier 1.
H&M is the latest store to make such an announcement. According to ABC 13, the company will close 250 stores in 2021 which is about 5 percent of its total store count.
In a statement released by H&M, the pandemic was blamed for causing even more of a shift to online shopping.
No specific store locations have been announced yet. There are three in the Indianapolis area.
