Well just in time for the holidays, Meijer is putting a new policy in place regarding alcohol sales. While that might put a damper on your shopping trip, it’s actually not as bas as it sounds.

The new restrictions don’t apply to beer, wine or gift sets. According to WXYZ, the two-limit policy will only apply to spirits. And even then, it’s the actual item not the type of item.

For example, if you want to get six bottles of vodka, you can totally still do that. But you’ll have to decide on three different types because you can only get two of each.

No word on how long the restriction will last.
