These are the stories we need to hear as we wrap up 2021. It starts off sad, but has a pretty great ending.

17-year-old Sarah Frei was riding with her friends back in July when they were hit head on by a drunk driver. Sarah was paralyzed from the waist down and both of her legs were amputated.

Nevertheless, the teen has been to determined to get back to life. After 75 days in the hospital and 20 surgeries, Sarah was finally able to go home according to WFLA. She’s since been documenting her recovery on Instagram using #sarahstrong.

One of the videos Sarah shared was her practicing an old dance routine from her bed to a Russell Dickerson song. Turns out, Russell saw the video and decided he wanted to do something for the teen. So, he teamed up with Chevy to outfit a Traverse with everything Sarah would need to be able to drive.

Russell crashed what Sarah thought was a magazine interview and made the big reveal. She was understandably PUMPED.

Skip ahead to the two minute mark for Russell.
