Yellowstone is probably one of the biggest TV shows out there right now. It’s so popular, a prequel is in the works and it has some serious star power behind it.
According to Yahoo!, the new show will be called 1883. It will follow the Dutton family on their trip across the plains to Montana to find a better life. Sam Elliott will play a cowboy and Tim and Faith will play James and Margaret Dutton.
“The Duttons are tremendous characters and it’s so thrilling to be able to bring them to life,” Tim said. Faith agreed and added that she can’t wait to play “such a strong female character like Margaret Dutton.”
No word on when 1883 will air, but it’s expected to come out sometime this year.
