Yes, that IS a contest that happens. It is called the USA Mullet Championship and Greyson Reynolds from Indianapolis is in the top 100 of the kids’ division.

According to WTHR, the top 15 kids with the most likes/reactions on their Facebook photo will move on to the next round of competition. The judges will then choose another 10 to make it a top 25.
