Matthew Perry is set to become the first ‘Friends’ cast member to spill all the tea on the show, and everything else in his life, when his book hits next year.
Perry, who’s struggled with substance abuse issues in his ‘post-Friends’ years, will get ‘seven figures’ for the autobiography, which will be published by Flatiron Books, a division of Macmillan, according to Deadline.
A rep for the publisher tells Deadline, “We need humor, we need catharsis, and we need to agree on something – and Matthew’s extraordinary story, told in his inimitable voice, is that thing.”
