This morning, I noticed I was low on windshield washer fluid. So as I let my old truck warm up, I popped the hood to fill the reservoir. But, when I tried to close the hood, it wouldn’t latch! The hood latch was stuck (probably rusted). Channeling my best MacGyver, I hooked some bungee cords through the truck grill and around the bumper. It worked! I checked online and I can order a replacement latch for my truck for about $20 bucks ……….. or I can just keep using the bungee cords.
