Bless her heart…and I’m not using that as a negative. Miranda Lambert continued her tradition of donating money to animal shelters on Valentine’s Day this year.
She chose 20 shelters and rescues across the country and gave each of them $1,000.
“Shelter pets – especially the ones that are hardest to get adopted – and the people who care for them, have always had my heart. Valentine’s Day gives me one more chance to show just how special they all are to me.”
According to Country Now, Miranda has volunteered in animal shelters since she was a teenager. She currently has five shelter dogs, several cats, rabbits and horses.
