This is one of the best things we’ve heard in a long time: Woody and Buzz from “Toy Story” are best buddies in real life.
Tim Allen discussed his friendship with Tom Hanks on “The Kelly Clarkson Show”, and he said, quote, “Tom and I have really become really close friends” . . . and that’s despite the fact that they, quote, “differ on so many things.”
Tim says they’ve been going out to lunch two or three times a year since the original “Toy Story”, and they’re like “two older women,” because they sit too close to each other in the booth.
This is where JDK differ. Deb won’t sit in a booth.
Despite their differences, Tim & Tom have no trouble getting along. Tim says, “I don’t think I’ve ever trusted a human being as much as Tom to listen to me. And vice versa.
“We have very different opinions on so many different things, but he’s really a wonderful and engaging person, and he’s the first guy that listens to me and doesn’t judge.”
Tim added, quote, “I adore that man’s heart and mind.”
