It’s that time of the year in Central Indiana when the cold tends to keep a lot of people inside. But whether you love the outdoors during the winter, or you look for indoor activities to stay out of the cold, we’ve gathered some great ideas to keep you and your family and friends busy through the season!

ICE SKATING:
Carmel Ice Skadium – Public skating on 2 indoor rinks. Located in Carmel.
The Ice At Carter Green – Fun and affordable way to enjoy the outdoors in the winter in CarmelThe.
The Ice Rink at Holliday Park – Located at Holliday Park Nature Center in Indy. Half price for students on Fridays. Children under 4 are FREE and season passes are available.
Elevance Health Rink at Bicentennial Unity Plaza – Ice skating next to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indy.

EVENTS:
Indy Fuel – Check out our minor league hockey team in Fishers! They play their home games at Fishers Event Center. Check the calendar for different promotional and themed nights.
Events at Gainbridge Fieldhouse – Check out professional NBA team, the Indiana Pacers, playing their home games here. Or check out all the other events and concerts at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indy.
The Historic Artcraft Theater – Just over 100 years of history in Franklin, IN! This is not a place for first-run movies, but it is a place for lots of fun! They still show movies on 35mm film, do giveaway drawings before each movie and they run a national anthem reel and classic cartoon. They even have bingo nights! There are concessions as well and popcorn refills are free!
