Remember when we didn’t have to spend all day on a work call and could get away with doing whatever we wanted to during the work day?
Thanks to the pandemic and Zoom it’s been a lot harder to multi-task during a work call, but a new web app can alter your video to give you an excuse to get out of any Zoom meeting.
According to Mashable, the app is called “Zoom Escaper,” the web app can play a number of effects like the sounds you get from a bad connection, echo, upset baby noises, and dog barks in the background of your Zoom call to make it seem like you need to leave.
You won’t hear the actual interference Zoom Escaper is making during a call, but it will likely be unbearable to others and they will most likely ask you to handle your “imaginary issues” at home.
Now you might want to start using the extension now, because as soon as your boss catches on it’s game over!
