We tried it.
Not surprisingly, we also hated it. Okay, maybe hate is too strong of a word. After all, one of us thought it tasted Coke ‘ish,’ though the flavor was certainly lacking a lot.
As in, a lot, A LOT.
A woman on TikTok says her pilates instructor shared a ‘healthy alternative’ to soda called the 2-ingredient Coke, which is supposed to taste like, well, the real thing.
We beg to differ. It tasted carbonated like a soda, however certainly not a cola, but you be the judge. It’s a simple recipe, with only two ingredients that you may already have in your pantry:
Balsamic Vinegar + Seltzer Water

Add ice to a glass. Pour 1-2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar to the cup, and pour seltzer water over the ice. Stir.
You decide if it tastes like a Coke.
Jim’s response after sipping said it all: ‘It tastes like bubbly balsamic vinegar.’ Who wants a tall glass of THAT?
GROSS.
We tossed our cups in the trash and grabbed coffee from our Keurig here at work, instead.
