By now you've seen the videos on social media of celebrities and folks like you and me dumping ice water on themselves and calling out friends to take the challenge. It's an effort to raise money and awareness for ALS, or Lou Gherig's disease.
It's working too….since July 29th, the ALS Foundation has seen $4 million dollars donated across the country. For the same period last year, the foundation only raised $25,000, so you can see this idea is a winner.
I just took the challenge (below) and now it's YOUR turn!
Post your video on social media and call out a friend to do the same. All participants are asked to donate $10 to ALS, and if you don't take the challenge (but are called out on social media) you can donate $100 to stay dry.
For more info on the challenge, click on the links below. C'mon Indy, let's do this!!
Experience the #IceBucketChallenge phenomenon that's spreading ALS Awareness across social media. Challenge your friends and family today!
