I have a very good friend who is CONSTANTLY sending me texts with nothing but emojis…much to my dismay. Here’s the deal…my vision is so bad I can’t really see the little buggers. At first I would respond with a polite “lol” or “:)” but she pressed on until I finally had to tell her the truth. Unless it was something obvious like a plain smiley face or heart, I couldn’t tell what she had sent. I got my kids to help me make the font bigger on my iphone (lots of giggling and eye rolls), and even though the letters are bigger, those little emojis continue to make me squint. I understand that with the new iOS9.1 update, you get all KINDS of new emojis (insert clapping hands here)….including the apparently long awaited middle finger. Honestly, it’s the reason for this blog. That way when I do accidentally send it (and you KNOW that’s coming) I can refer people to this blog and hope that they understand. If not, I guess I can just hit re-send.
