Hi..Jim here. This is my eclipse selfie from the solar eclipse of 2017. Millions took to the outdoors to capture the moment. Being in Indianapolis, we would see 91% coverage of the sun. Many, including me, thought it would be a little darker. Even though I was slightly disappointed, I could not have been more in awe of what I was seeing. The change of colors was incredible and the magnitude of what was happening made me realize how tiny we are. In 2024 we will see complete totality here in Indiana. I look forward to another astronomical experience.
